During the peak of kung fu movies in the Golden Age, director Chang Cheh and his students David Chiang and Ti Lung were the most successful “screen team.” This collection includes 12 timeless martial arts movies from the renowned Shaw Brothers’ collection, with many showcasing the legendary trio in their unforgettable performances.

These movies are making their debut on Blu-ray for the first time. Prepare for thrilling and chilling action as our beloved heroes battle against wicked foes in a fight to the finish!

I am equipped with a sword and ready to journey. This is available in 1080p high-definition widescreen with a ratio of 2.35:1. The audio is in both Mandarin and English, with DTS-HD Master Audio Mono. The total duration is 106 minutes.

Internationally acclaimed director Chang Cheh teams David Chiang and Ti Lung for the second time in the classic heroic bloodshed epic Have Sword, Will Travel, its title inspired by the lone gunman Hollywood hit TV show Have Gun – Will Travel. Ti Lung is the armor of an “armored van” taking silver to the capital. Along the way, a mysterious knight (David Chiang) stalks him. Although he appears to be the robber, his intentions prove to be far more mysterious.

THE HEROIC ONES (1080p High-Definition Widescreen (2.35:1) / Mandarin & English Dub DTS-HD Master Audio Mono / 126 min.)

During the Golden Age of kung fu cinema, director Chang Cheh and his protégés, David Chiang and Ti Lung, were the most successful screen team. Their iconic historical epic takes place during the decline of the Tang Dynasty, with the two brothers engaging in a fierce battle against both enemies and traitors to determine the future of China. Their exceptional martial arts skills are put to the test in this ultimate showdown.

Retaliation! (102 minutes) High-Definition Widescreen (2.35:1) at 1080p / Mono DTS-HD Master Audio in Mandarin and English Dub.

In this story of revenge and sacrifice, David Chiang portrays a mentally unstable character seeking retribution for his brother’s death. The intense action scenes, choreographed by Tang Chia and Yuen Cheung-yan (known for their work in films such as The Grandmaster and The Matrix Reloaded), match the character’s unstable nature. Director Chang Cheh was awarded Best Director and David Chiang’s haunting portrayal earned him the Best Actor Award at the 1970 Asian Film Festival.

THE ANONYMOUS HEROES (1080p High-Definition Widescreen (2.35:1) / Mandarin & English Dub DTS-HD Master Audio Mono / 108 min.)

Chang Cheh, the director, and his two stars Ti Lung and David Chiang were famously referred to as the “iron triangle” due to their numerous successful collaborations. However, it could also be argued that they should have been known as the “iron rectangle” due to the significant impact of action choreographer Lau Kar-leung. This film, set in post-Chinese Revolution and featuring rebels fighting against warlords, serves as a prime example of the impressive abilities of the four individuals both behind and in front of the camera. Their collaboration resulted in this film becoming a top-ten hit in 1971.

THE DEADLY DUO (1080p High-Definition Widescreen (2.35:1) / Mandarin & English Dub DTS-HD Master Audio Mono / 81 min.)

The Sung Dynasty faces off against the Chin invaders in a thrilling kung fu epic. When a prince is captured and protected by a skilled martial artist, two brave patriots must overcome great obstacles to rescue him. From beginning to end, this action-packed film is both captivating and intense, building up to an unforgettable finale. The dynamic duo proves to be a formidable force against their enemies.

DUEL OF FISTS (1080p High-Definition Widescreen (2.35:1) / Mandarin & English Dub DTS-HD Master Audio Mono / 107 min.)

The iron triangle and action choreographer Liu Chia-liang have once again achieved success. David Chiang, a Chinese boxer, journeys to Bangkok to locate his missing brother, who may or may not be the Thai boxer portrayed by Ti Lung. This combination of kung fu and Thai boxing was a major hit in 1971, ranking just below Bruce Lee’s The Big Boss.

THE DUEL (1080p High-Definition Widescreen (2.35:1) / Mandarin & English Dub DTS-HD Master Audio Mono / 110 min.)

Before Bruce Lee gained fame, the most popular heroes in Hong Kong movies were Ti Lung and David Chiang. The following year after their breakthrough in Chang Cheh’s iconic rebellious action film, Vengeance!, they appeared in this epic showdown as a adopted son facing family fears and a street-smart knight named “Rambler.” They initially don’t trust each other but must put aside their differences to survive a dangerous challenge involving fire and physical combat.

THE ANGRY GUEST (1080p High-Definition Widescreen (2.35:1) / Mandarin & English Dub DTS-HD Master Audio Mono / 93 min.)

After a Japanese gangster seeks revenge and kills the mother of our protagonists while also kidnapping one of their girlfriends, chaos ensues in Tokyo and Hong Kong. This well-known sequel to Duel Of Fists (including a special appearance by director Chang Cheh as a triad leader) features the talented Yasuaki Kurata, who would later star alongside Jet Li in Fist Of Legend. Along with other beloved international actors, this movie is packed with thrilling fight scenes.

ALL MEN ARE BROTHERS (1080p High-Definition Widescreen (2.35:1) / Mandarin & English Dub DTS-HD Master Audio Mono / 105 min.)

This highly anticipated film is the next installment in the popular martial arts movie, The Water Margin. After much anticipation, international fans can now enjoy this thrilling sequel, which is based on a timeless Chinese novel from the 14th century. Also referred to as Seven Soldiers Of Kung Fu and 108 Heroes, this epic production boasts a star-studded cast of beloved kung fu actors and four talented action choreographers.

THE BLOOD BROTHERS (1080p High-Definition Widescreen (2.35:1) / Mandarin & English Dub DTS-HD Master Audio Mono / 122 min.)

Taking place during the final years of the Ching Dynasty, this gripping story of martial arts, betrayal, and vengeance delves into a notorious scandal from Chinese history. It also served as a defining moment for the director and cast, propelling them to superstardom. Notably, Ti Lung’s portrayal of a jealous governor who murders his friend to claim his wife earned him an Outstanding Performance award at the Golden Horse Awards.

The film “The Savage 5” is available in 1080p high-definition widescreen (2.35:1) with Mandarin and English dub options and DTS-HD Master Audio Mono. The runtime is 95 minutes.

The protagonists are fierce due to the fact that the antagonists are ruthless, heartless, and malicious. Initially, a group only desires for the town locksmith to unlock a stolen safe, but it quickly transforms into torture. While reminiscent of The Seven Samurai, The Savage 5 stands out as the director and his esteemed action choreographers, Liu Chia-liang and Tang Chia, meticulously craft each of its numerous battles with raw brutality and intense force. The outcome is an exceptionally authentic, even harrowing, demonstration of nail-biting tension.

7 MAN ARMY (1080p High-Definition Widescreen (2.35:1) / Mandarin & English Dub DTS-HD Master Audio Mono / 118 min.)

In 1933, a group of 20,000 Japanese soldiers and 50 tanks launched an invasion on Pa Tou Lou Tzu, a crucial location along the Great Wall. Despite being vastly outnumbered by the enemy, only seven brave men were stationed there to defend it. They valiantly fought for five days before eventually being overtaken. Director Chang Cheh honored these unnamed individuals by depicting their heroic battle in a film, featuring esteemed actors such as Ti Lung, David Chiang, Alexander Fu Sheng, and Chen Kuan-tai.
