Unleashed | Blu-ray (Bayview Films)

On June 27, 2023, Bayview Films and Orchid Tree Media is releasing the Blu-ray for Unleashed (read our review), a 2020 actioner directed by Ambrose Kwok and Ka Hei Kwok (Ossan’s Love).

After climbing up the hierarchy of the illegal boxing world, Fok Kit (played by Zhen Feng Sun) reluctantly assists his previous mentor, Debo (played by Ken Lo from Police Story 3: Supercop and Drunken Master 2), in saving their boxing gym by challenging the reigning street champion. However, the match is predetermined and Fok Kit is defeated, leaving him to not only financially support his mentor but also contemplate his own future. This ultimately leads to a final confrontation in the boxing ring to determine his path in life. The film is in Cantonese with English subtitles.

Venus is also featured in the film. Wong Man-Yik (King of Mahjong), Sam Lee (Beast Cops), Raymond Chiu (Shock Wave 2), Wiyona Yeung Lau-Ching (The Empty Hands), and Kevin Li Kin-Wang (From Vegas to Macau).
