October 9, 2023 marks the release date for 88 Films’ New Deluxe Limited Edition Blu-ray (Region B) of Battle Creek Brawl (also known as The Big Brawl), a 1980 film starring Jackie Chan, directed by Robert Clouse (known for Game of Death and Enter the Dragon), and featuring Jose Ferrer (from Joan of Arc), Kristine DeBell (from Cheerleaders’ Wild Weekend), and Mako (from Silent Assassins).

Upon arriving in America, Jackie Chan had aspirations of becoming a renowned actor in the Western film industry. His first major Hollywood project as a lead actor was directed by the well-respected Robert Clouse, known for his work in elevating Bruce Lee’s career with “Enter the Dragon” in 1973. With “Battle Creek Brawl” in 1980, Director Clouse once again achieved success in showcasing Chan’s talent.

Jackie is a prime example of a man who conquers the mafia and wins the heart of the stunning Playboy cover model, Kristine DeBell. This classic American chopsocky battle is now available in a new 2K restoration, ready to join your collection!
