  • Vanilla flavoring is not necessary, but it adds a subtle taste to the cookies.

  • If you’re using unsalted butter, add salt. If you’re using salted butter, omit the salt.

In a bowl, combine 1 cup of flour and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Stir briefly and set aside. If using salted butter, do not add additional salt.

Put it between two sheets of parchment paper and use a rolling pin to flatten it to a thickness of 1/4 inch.

Take the cookie cutter and coat it with flour to prevent it from sticking when you cut out the shape.

Cut the dough into various shapes and then preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.

One more time, roll the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and use cookie cutters to create shapes. Continue this process until all the dough is used.
